You may place the Negative Ion Projector™ in any room you like. I personally keep one in my office and one next to my bed. Just remember that your level of exposure is dependant on your distance away from the ionizer. For instance, if your ionizer is about six feet away from you, you will be breathing nearly one hundred thousand ions per cubic centimeter. This is the same concentration found at Niagra Falls. Place the unit so that the ion emitter will be situated over the edge of the supporting structure as shown in figure 1. If the ionizer is situated as depicted in figure 2, any exposed surface are in front of the ionizer will become electrostatically charged and will actually propel the ions up toward the ceiling.

Once you have your ionizer situated, go ahead and plug it in. A small light located at the rear of the unit will come on, indicating that it is receiving power. Your ionizer is now producing a tremendous quantitiy of negative ions. By placing your palm an inch or two from the ion emitter, you can even feel the movement of ions as a slight breeze or coolness on your skin. If you are not sensitive enough to feel "ion wind", the ion detector that came with your ionizer will give a much more concrete indication that your ionizer is working properly. The next section of this manual will show you how to use the device.
